My Go-To Healthy Summer Ice Cream Swaps 🍦☀️

One of my favorite things about summer is ice cream and frozen yogurt. I mean… yum.

But lately, I’ve been wanting something a little healthier—something that still hits that creamy, sweet, cold craving without making me feel like I went completely off track.

And honestly? These have become my new summertime staples.

They’re high-protein, super simple, and actually taste like a treat… not “healthy food pretending to be dessert.”

And the secret? Frozen fruit.
No ice needed. It keeps everything thick, creamy, and not watered down.

Tropical Cheesecake Bowl 🍍🥥

This one tastes like a tropical dessert you’d get on vacation.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz cottage cheese
  • 7 oz frozen tropical fruit blend
  • 1 tbsp cheesecake flavoring (I use Flavor God)
  • Splash of water (only if needed)

Directions:
Blend until smooth and creamy. Add just a little water if needed to get that soft-serve consistency.

Butter Pecan Protein Bowl 🧈🌰

This one is rich, cozy, and gives major ice cream shop vibes.

Ingredients:

  • 1 scoop butter pecan protein powder
  • 6 oz cottage cheese
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen both work)
  • Splash of water (if needed)

Directions:
Blend until smooth. Thick, creamy, and naturally sweet.

Chocolate Berry Bowl 🍓🍫

This one is for when you want something chocolatey but still fresh.

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz cottage cheese
  • 7 oz frozen mixed berries
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free chocolate syrup

Directions:
Blend until smooth and creamy.

Why I’m Obsessed

  • High in protein
  • Naturally sweet
  • Takes 2 minutes
  • Actually filling
  • Feels like dessert… without the crash

Pro Tip 💡

If your blender struggles, let the frozen fruit sit out for 5–10 minutes before blending. You’ll still get that thick texture without overworking your blender.
