About me
.
Hi, I’m Meagan – writer, working mom, and a believer in growth, even when life doesn’t go as planned.
I work from home in the corporate world, raising two incredible kids alongside my best friend and husband. Our daughter is a sharp, strong teenager becoming her own person, and our son
— who has profound autism – teaches us every single day about patience, resilience, and joy that lives outside the lines.
My husband and I are partners in every sense of the word. We’ve built a life together that’s rooted in love, laughter, late-night talks, and showing up for each other – especially when things get hard.
I’m endlessly grateful for the way we move through life as a team.
But my story also includes hard things.
I’ve wrestled with identity, grief, burnout, and the quiet ache of trying to hold it all together while still wanting something more.
And through it all, I’ve grown.

This blog, Something Like Lemonade, is where I tell the truth.
The sweet parts. The sour moments. And yes — sometimes the salty stuff too.
Here, I write about motherhood, healing, identity, wellness, astrology (because yes, I’m that kind of deep-feeler), and the process of becoming who you’re meant to be – even when the path looks nothing like you pictured.
If you’re navigating life with a soft heart and strong will… if you’re building something beautiful out of what’s been broken….. you’re in the right place.
I’m so glad you’re here.
With love and a little lemonade,
