If you know me or follow my Instagram, you know that I am a coffee addict. I love Starbucks lattes, I love Dunkin Iced Coffee, I will try any new little coffee shop I happen across. I love coffee.
I actually didn’t start drinking coffee until I was in my late 20s. It just wasn’t something I took the time to try. Until one fateful day a co-worker talked me into visiting Starbucks with her and the rest is history. I love to try new coffees and flavors. But, of course the cost of buying your coffee every day can really add up. It took me a while to perfect making my coffee at home. I would always make it too weak or too strong. After years of practice I have finally perfected my home brew and can easily figure out if I should add or subtract scoops after my first try with a new brand.
When we moved into our house in 2019, something I really wanted was to have a coffee area. It took me forever to finally decide on the stand. I am not kidding. I looked at SOOOOO many different stands. I finally settled on a sidebar from Crate and Barrel. I got a new coffee maker, and espresso machine and accessories for the stand.
Having a cute area to make my coffee makes my early mornings much more enjoyable. Its directly across from my at home office. I love how the smell of coffee makes me feel in the morning. It wakes me up. It makes me feel cozy on cold, rainy days. My iced coffee makes me feel awake and motivated.
The next step is the to decide how to decorate the wall behind the side bar. I have been toying with ideas and finally settled on what I want. Can’t wait to get started and share the updates once I am done!
