As she has gotten older, my daughter has become even more girly. If that’s even possible….
She loves wearing dresses and jewelry. For her last birthday she said she wanted it to be “super girly”. What better theme than a super girly tea party!
Now, I will say she was a little worried the boys from her class were going to hate it. But, she was wrong! The one little boy even said it was the best party he had been too!!!
On the invitation I was sure to specify it was a tea party. Just so parents and kids knew what to expect.
For decorations we did soft floral colors. Lots of pinks!!! I ordered some paper decorations from Amazon, along with the paper plates, straws and of course, tea cups! I found adorable paper tea cups for the kids to use. They were a hit.

We placed the tea cups around the table so they were ready when the kids arrived. The placemats, I ordered from Amazon, had tea party themed activities to keep the kids entertained while we waited for someone to arrive.

Each child had a favor waiting for them. The girls each had a tea party hat and small bag filled with jewelry. The boys had bow ties, mustaches, and hats too!!! All found right on Amazon! Have I mentioned how much I love Amazon?
We played Tea Party Bingo as our first game. Then we headed outside to let the kids take a swing at the Tea Pot piñata. My daughter also loves the seek and find books. So, she wanted to do a seek and find game. We printed out princess and tea party themed icons on the Cricut and hide them around the room. The kids had a list and got to run around trying to find the images.
I think what made the party, for the kids, was the fact we had a desserts table. She had an amazing cake and cupcakes. There were teacup cookies. Popcorn that was flavored and colored to match the color theme of the party. Chocolate covered pretzels and marshmallows with sprinkles. Also, some cute pink cookies covered in white chocolate and sprinkles.
Oh, and of course there was tea!
