While I love photography, it is not my full time job.

I don’t stress about having steady sessions booked because I still want to have time with my family on the weekends and evenings. But, I still wanted to make sure I was actively using my camera and practicing editing.

So, to continue to push myself, I decided I wanted to try a photo challenge. I couldn’t find one I wanted to join so, I made a list for myself. Each day having its own word or theme. I originally didn’t plan to include anyone else in this, but after talking to a few friends that thought it was a good idea.

I decided to create a Facebook page, MF Photo Challenge. I invited a few friends. Then, they started to invite their friends. Something that started off being just for me, now has over 300 people sharing pictures.

It has been really amazing to see all the different perspectives people are bringing to the challenge. Anyone is welcome to join the challenge. You can also search #mfphotochallenge on Instagram to see images people have shared!
